...And he's off!

After receiving his mission call on February 13, 2015, it was now time to leave home and begin to serve in the Mexico, Chihuahua Mission. We took him to the airport on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. His plane was scheduled to depart at 6:30am. It was an early morning. His dad Philip, brother Brecken, sister Kylah, his Grammy Val and myself were there to see him off. The hugs goodbye were so hard. It's hard for a mom to see the heartache in her children's eyes as they say goodbye. I tried to savor our last hug, for I knew that it would be a long 2 years. They say these are the best 2 years. I'm looking forward to hearing about his experiences as an missionary and sharing them with you here.
