Yesterday evening, we went to Naín's house (most recent investigator) and we committed him to baptism on November 19th!! and he said, "Can I do it sooner?!" hahaha We gotta kick out of that for sure! He came to church on Sunday, participated in all the classes, and even attended a baptism yesterday night with us! :) He's like in his early 30's but loves doing sports and stuff like that. I feel like I just click with him. haha He's my favorite investigator EVER!!! He had a lot of excitement for the church and the things that he is learning!
I think later today me and the zone leaders, and Elder Johnson are gonna carve some pumpkins for Halloween! :) We will see how that goes! I will send pictures next week of it if we do! haha
The sister missionaries in my district were teaching this woman named Dora Manuela Arana Peña. I was able to interview her and afterwards, she asked me if I would baptize her! Of course I said yes! Coolest woman ever!! She is in another ward, so I wasn't able to be in her ward to see her be confirmed because her ward and mine both start at 8:30am.
Love you bunches,
Elder Fowler
This week's scripture to "Ponderize" is:
Doctrine & Covenants 19:23-24
23 Learn of me, and listen to my words; walk in the meekness of my Spirit, and you shall have peace in me.
Elder Johnson and I drew these pictures. I drew Elder Johnson, and he drew me!haha |
(From this angle, you can see that they were actually drawing on a desk top) |
